The fine folks at News 14 in Raleigh, NC had a great idea: put up a web interface for folks to submit school and business closing announcements during a recent storm.

However, some screening of those might have been prudent.

...is entirely hilarious...Cingular's commercial (co.?) doesn't hold one thin birthday candle to this.

I appreciate your devotion to your team...'Canes aren't likely playoff-bound, but stuff like this makes a season a bit amusing...Then again, I know how that is. The papers here get about eight pages per day of "RANGERS SUCK".

Instead, I just root for a boring local team that doesn't draw fans, but has a killer goaltender and wins a lot. :)
